Wow! Science Camp receives $75,000 from Walmart Foundation's State Giving Program

Wow! Science Camp receives $75,000 – Wow! Science Camp -- based in Camden County -- recently received a $75,000 grant through the Walmart Foundation’s State Giving Program.  The grant helps support the day-to-day expenses of the camp's various science programs, which include meteorology, geology and mining, health and nutrition, forensics, and more.  Because many of the attending children are underprivileged from Sicklerville, Cherry Hill, and Camden City, the grant money is also used to help the camp provide financial aid to the more than 80 percent of children who would otherwise be unable to attend. The check was presented to the camp at its end-of-summer "Graduation Celebration," attended by campers, their families, and various community leaders and supporters.
