Update, 6:30 p.m., 12/31/12:
Authorites have charged a Woodbury man in the slaying of a missing woman whose body was found in a clothing-collection bin early Monday morning.
Harry John Neher, 32, of 51 S. Broad St., was charged Monday afternoon with first degree murder, third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, third-degree hindering his own apprehension or prosecution, fourth-degree tampering with evidence and fourth-degree certain persons prohibited from possessing a weapon.
Neher is accused of killing Sabrina R. Bullock, 41, of the same apartment building. Her body was found about 3 a.m. Monday in a bin off Russell Street, behind the apartment building.
Authorities initially reported Bullock's body was found in a storage shed.
An autopsy by the Gloucester County Medical Examiner determined the cause of Bullock's death was blunt trauma to the head and neck.
Bullock lived with her juvenile daughter. Bullock was last seen alive on Saturday, Dec. 29 and was reported missing by her family on Sunday. A Woodbury police officer conducting a missing-person search found her body.
Neher, who is unemployed, was held in the Gloucester County Jail in lieu of $1 million bail, set by state Superior Court Judge David Krell.
Bullock's slaying remains under investigation. Anyone with information about her death is asked to contact Det. Tom Ryan of the Woodbury Police Department at 856-845-0065 or Det. Stacie Lick of the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office at 856-384-5608.
A missing Woodbury woman whose body was found in a storage shed was murdered, authorities said Monday.
The body of Sabrina Bullock, 41, was found about 3 a.m. Monday by a Woodbury police officer, in a storage shed off Russell Street behind an apartment building at 51 S. Broad St., Woodbury.
Bullock, was last seen alive on Saturday, Dec. 29 and was reported missing by her family on Sunday. A Woodbury police officer conducting a missing-person search for Bullock found her body, according to the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office.
The condition of the body has caused investigators for the Woodbury Police Department and the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office to believe Bullock was murdered, said Bernie Weisenfeld, the prosecutor's spokesman. However, an autopsy has not yet been conducted.
No arrests had been made in connection with Bullock's death as of Monday afternoon.
Bullock's death is the second slaying in Woodbury in the past two weeks.
On Dec. 17, 54-year-old Ramona Johnstone was found unconscious in her residence at Woodbury Court Apartments on Broad Street and was pronounced dead on arrival at Underwood-Memorial Hospital, Woodbury. She died of multiple stab wounds, an autopsy concluded.
Johnstone had been a prosecution witness in the trial of 60-year-old Richard Santiago on charges of fatally stabbing a 44-year-old Mantua Township man in the same Woodbury apartment complex on Sept. 12, 2004.
Santiago was convicted in his 2006 trial of aggravated manslaughter in the death of Richard King, an acquaintance of Johnstone's. Santiago, who was released from state prison in May 2012, is now charged with murder in Johnstone's slaying.
