Bites Nearby: Paula's
This Cinnaminson diner has some of the best pancakes around.
Bored with the same old dining out destinations you’ve been going to for years? Hungering for a new fabulous food experience? Rather than perusing the Web or taking tips from friends, we’ve got a better idea.
Each week, West Deptford Patch editors and readers will pick a great restaurant nearby whose cuisine is considered to reign supreme.
We knows it's a little bit of a hike up Route 130, but here’s this week’s choice:
Paula's Family Restaurant, 1253 Route 130, Cinnaminson
Greatest Dish Ever: There's one reason to make the trip up to Paula's. OK, maybe two reasons: the pancakes and the crepes. Their pancakes crack our top-five all-time list–which includes pancakes from all over the place, including the Original Pantry Cafe in Los Angeles–and that's no slouch.
Don’t Miss: Seriously, you're going there for the pancakes. That's all you need to know. Don't leave the building without eating at least one. That's an order.
The Vibe: With syrup in those generic ketchup squeeze bottles and sometimes mismatched plates, it's decidedly diner–a little worn-out and beat-up around the edges, but this isn't a place you're going for the ambiance, trust us. You're going because the food's inexpensive and the pancakes rock.
