'Butter' is the Gloucester County Pet of the Week

This brown tabby—in desperate need of a home—can melt a heart, just like butter.

Patch.com and the Gloucester County Animal Shelter have partnered to share with you the featured pets once a week, so check in with us to find your next furry friend. Here is the latest submission from the Gloucester County Animal Shelter:

Butter is a 3-year-old, male, white cat with brown tabby markings. Amazingly sweet and full of love, our talkative boy is just who you have been searching for!

When you pick him up, he just melts in your arms like butter. He jumps right into your lap and looks up at you with those gorgeous eyes and lets out a big "MEOW!" He has a raspy boyish voice that is just hysterical to listen to. He just wants to be as close to you as possible, all the while making sure he's giving you lots of lovin'.

You won't find a more loveable guy than Butter. We would love to see this great cat find happiness with a new family.

If you would like to meet Butter, please contact the Gloucester County Animal Shelter at 856-881-2828. His ticket number is 219462.
