Colonial Footbal Wrap: Paulsboro Pulls Upset of Haddonfield
In the opening conference game of the season, the Red Raiders pull off what only one team could in the last two years: Beat the Bulldawgs.
West Deptford's Tom Jakubowski tackles Paulsboro's Deshaun Burgess after Burgess snared an interception in the annual Thanksgiving rivalry game last year. Burgess didn't have problems avoiding tacklers Friday night, as he scored a 10-yard TD to help beat Haddonfield.

For the last two years, the Colonial Conference has been about just two teams: West Deptford and Haddonfield.
Friday night, Paulsboro served notice this year will be different.
The Red Raiders shut out the Bulldawgs on the road, 10-0, behind a 10-yard touchdown run by Deshaun Burgess and a 37-yard field goal from Mike Maccarone.
It was the only Colonial game on the night—Saturday will be a crowded day for the conference: Collingswood is at Woodbury, Haddon Heights hosts Gateway, Sterling travels to Haddon Township, Overbrook hosts Audubon and West Deptford will head to Lindenwold.
