Drita D'Avanzo from 'Mob Wives' Coming to Coastline in Cherry Hill

The reality television show star will make an appearance at the nightclub on Friday.

Drita D'Avanzo is best known for her fighting prowess on the hit VH1 reality show Mob Wives.

So it might be wise not to mess with her when she makes an appearance at the Coastline in Cherry Hill on Friday, June 22.

D'Avanzo, 36, will put her dukes down long enough, though, to mingle with guests and pose for photos from 10 p.m. to midnight. There's a $10 cover.

D'Avanzo's appearance is sponsored by Philadelphia radion station MIX 106.1-FM.

Visit the Coastline's website for more information.

Mob Wives follows a group of women on Staten Island whose husband or fathers are behind bars for gangland crimes. D'Avanzo has been one of the show's breakout stars. The third season is set to begin filming next month.

I was wondering where the "What is 'Mob Wives?'" option was myself, Ric. But I'm sure Ms. D'Avanzo will draw a crowd for her appearance.

Stop the madness.

TV losers and wannabe gangster degenerates do not belong on the Patch. This website is for the town and the community, not glorifying nitwits and punks. Why did the Collingswood Patch even pick this story up, and more troubling, why did the Moorestown Patch even bother with this? Total waste of our time. LAME.

And btw, as if the Coastline wasn't filled with enough scumbags already, this event will sure to attract a whole new element like flies on flypaper .....Maybe they could hold a contest for best Italian wannabe gangster wannabe dress up night LOL

I think it's hilarious how people take time out of their life to leave negative comments. If this doesn't interest you than click to the next article. I do enjoy to watch this show, and no I'm not an Italian wanna be ganster either. I am an educated working woman. This is why children these days are so negative and judgemental. If something is not in your interest than continue on with your life. Don't pass judgement on others and speculate who would like or not like something. Serious question, was your day better after leaving these comments? Please do stay home and read you book tomorrow. I on the other hand will be putting my book down (omg - you mean to tell me this lady can read real books AND like mob wives?? No way) and attending this event.

The low class and low rent folks appears to be devaluing again the value of free speech. Internet Troll Brigade strikes again, sighs...

"I think it's hilarious how people take time out of their life to' create fake accounts an hour ago and use it to chastise people who care about their community.

When I see ridiculous feeds that pop up, yes I will answer with a voice of reason. I stay away from such rot gut garbage but when it invades space on a forum that does not subscribe to such posted, darn right I will say something. ....and btw, why post a remark about a remark that wasn't directed at you? asinine. And my comment still stands; why was this reposted to another Patch?

p.s. Have fun on your night out and stay sober for the drive home for the rest of us, please.

Hi One Road, Sometimes we post the same story (and thus the same comments show on all) if it doesn't necessarily have a focus on our Patch towns, but might be of interest to readers anyway. The Patch towns in our region are Cinnaminson, Collingswood, Gloucester Township, Haddonfield, Moorestown and West Deptford, and I believe this story is posted on all of them.

@Lauren Burgoon. Hi Lauren, is there anyway that the Cinnaminson, Moorestown and Gloucester Twp Patches can be dropped from our 'region' and they be regrouped as their own, please. These towns and communities have nothing at all to due with us and vice versa. (Haddon Twp- Haddonfield, Westmont, Collingswood, Oaklyn, Audubon)
Also, (if you happen to know) is there a Cherry Hill Patch in the works? Thanks Lauren

Seems like some people are having trouble sleeping at night because they are worrying about the silliest of things. Who cares if a comment on Patch is read by someone in another town? this is the internet folks. Get over it.

Ric, the Patch website was created specifically to keep up with local town affairs. Here is the link on how they identify their mission, http://www.patch.com/about

Gary, Oh no, you want to jettison some of our towns! Just kidding. We're grouped that way because we're actually the only Patches in this area of South Jersey. The closest others are at the shore (Galloway, Ocean City) and then in Central and North Jersey.

But Patch is always looking for the next best place to open a site. Cherry Hill is certainly one a lot of people want. I grew up in Haddon Township, so I want one there!

Toni, I agree. If someone doesn't like a show, he/she can turn off the television. I watch very little TV, but I do enjoy "Mob Wives." To me, just like "Jersey Shore," it's unintentional performance art that says a lot about our society.
