The West Deptford High School wrestling team will open up the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 playoffs on the road as a No. 5 seed. The Eagles will travel to take on No. 4 Barnegat on Monday.

If the opponent seems like it’s a familiar one, that’s because it is. West Deptford and Barnegat met in the quarterfinals last year with the Eagles pulling out a 34-27 win.

Delsea is the No. 1 seed, while Clayton is the No. 2 seed. Both teams received a first-round bye. The other quarterfinal features No. 3 Highland hosting No. 6 Gateway.

The Eagles (12-8) wrap up their regular season tonight at home against Woodstown. Barnegat finished 12-10.
