Motorcycle Crash Snarls Traffic on Route 295
Traffic is been shut down as a result of the crash between exits 22 and 23 in West Deptford.
A motorcycle crash has sent at least one person to Cooper University Hospital's trauma center and shut down the highway near West Deptford High School Monday afternoon.
The crash, which happened just after 3 p.m., closed down the left two lanes of the highway. A wrecked motorcycle and a helmet were lying in the roadway after the crash, and one eyewitness reported seeing blood on the median barrier.
Police: The accident may have stemmed from speeding, weaving by the motorcycle driver.
Traffic was backed up on the northbound to south of Delaware Street following the crash.
Drivers can avoid the accident area by getting off Route 295 at the Delaware Street exit, then continuing to Old Crown Point Road, before getting back on Route 295 at either of the next two exits, either at the high school or north of Verga Fire Company.

I saw the remains of the accident on my way home from work on Monday. It was a unforgettable sight. I knew it must of been bad due to the amount of blood on cement dividing wall. My thoughts and prays are with the accident victim.

thank you for your prayers. The road to recovery is going to be a long one. But I hope with God's will, we will work out and be okay with the road we have ahead.
