Pair of Parades Mark Memorial Day Locally
Come out at 8 a.m. or 10 a.m. to commemorate the holiday.
You'll have two chances to celebrate Memorial Day Monday morning.
First, a parade kicks off at the Thorofare Fire Department at 8 a.m. and runs down Grove Road past the library and municipal building.
The larger, second parade begins at 10 a.m. and goes from Academy and Hessian avenues, by Colonial Manor Fire Company, all the way down Hessian Avenue through National Park to Red Bank Battlefield, where there will be a ceremony following the parade.
