Police: Would-Be Landscapers Steal from Pickup
Thieves make off with a bunch of lawn tools from the back of a pickup.
Unlocked car thefts usually involve a few standards: iPods, GPS units, handbags, wallets.
But gardening tools?
That's what West Deptford police say thieves grabbed from the back of a pickup parked on Woodbury Terrace last week.
The thieves made off with a pitchfork, a rake, a shovel, two five-gallon buckets of hydraulic fluid, two one-gallon containers of bar oil—used with chainsaws—and a pintle hook trailer hitch.
The theft is under investigation.
