Route 295 Going to One Lane in Salem County Tuesday

Repairs will close the right lane in Carneys Point Tuesday morning.

Drivers heading south on Route 295 can expect to see lane closures Tuesday morning, with water main repair work scheduled in Carneys Point.

The right soutbound lane and shoulder at the Georgetown Road overpass will be closed from about 9 a.m. to about 3:30 p.m., as workers repair a water main on the overpass, reducing 295 to a single lane in the area.

New Jersey Department of Transportation officials said the work should be complete in one day, but the exact timing is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
