The Fresh For All site in Paulsboro seeks some able-bodied helpers who are willing to bring fresh food to those in need.

Operated by Philabundance, the Fresh For All site distributes more than 3,200 pounds of food each week to about 130 households in Paulsboro. Since the site opened in July 2009, it is estimated that more than 641,000 pounds of food have been distributed from the site.

“Fresh For All has proven to be a program that the community really needs and relies on, and that is exactly why it was created,” says President and Executive Director of Philabundance Bill Clark.

Serving as a “traveling farmers market,” Fresh For All delivers fresh fruits and vegetables to those in need. Clark adds that with roughly five families in Paulsboro registering for the program each week, the need for volunteers has increased in order to keep the site operating efficiently.

The Fresh For All site is at the Moose Lodge, 402 Cook Ave. in Paulsboro, and requires volunteers for Thursdays from 2 to 4 p.m.

Philabundance is an organization dedicated to delivering food to those in need through neighborhood distribution programs and a network of approximately 500 member agencies in nine different counties.

Additional sites in the region also operate for two hours weekly, but vary in hours of operation.

• Glassboro - Glassboro VFW at 275 Wilmer St.  from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. every Saturday;

• Lindenwold - PATCO station at 801 Berlin North Road from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. every Saturday;

• Camden - St. John Baptist Church at 400 N. 30th St.  from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. every Tuesday
