Unlocked Car, Apartment Burglaries Among West Deptford Crimelog

The following information was provided by the West Deptford police department.

 

West Deptford police reported these incidents over the last week:

–Two one-gallon milk jugs with roughly $300 in cash and can tabs were stolen from an unlocked apartment at Red Bank Run on July 3.

–Vandals slashed one of the front tires of a car parked on Durham Court on July 4.

–A brown wallet with $15 in cash was stolen from an unlocked car on Lincoln Avenue on July 5.

–Two pairs of sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked car on Red Bank Avenue on June 5.

–Thieves smashed out the passenger-side window and stolen a purse with $170 in cash, credit cards and several pieces of ID, as well as a work bag, from a car parked on Highgrove Court on July 7. A GPS that was also in the car was left untouched.

–Potential thieves went through the glovebox and some papers in an unlocked car on Railroad Avenue on July 9, but didn't appear to have taken anything.
