Verga Firefighter Graduates Philly Fire Academy
Steve Stippick's firefighting career began in West Deptford.
A firefighter who started his career at West Deptford's Verga Fire Company is a newly minted graduate of the Philadelphia Fire Academy, Verga reports.
The fire company posted a picture on its Facebook page of Steve Stippick, who started as a junior at Verga before pursuing the fire academy. Stippick graduated Wednesday from Philadelphia Fire Academy and will work for Ladder 14 there, Verga says.
