Sitting snug between Weight Watchers and Hair Connection is a large vacant lot, one of four in the Southwood Shopping Center. While the plaza is acquiring new business, such as MedExpress which will soon take the place of the former Hollywood Video, this particular building has been vacant for about two years after its former resident—Duffy’s Delicious Candies—relocated to the CVS Plaza on Mantua Pike.
This latest edition of “Visions for Vacancies” asks the readers of West Deptford Patch to share their ideas for what business should move into this empty building located in The Southwood Shopping Center at 875 Mantua Pike in West Deptford.

Bagel/Coffee Shop would be great. Even an Einstein Bagels or Panera Bread would be great.

Raysam, you need to stop acting like you are in 3rd Grade. Def. a coffee shop/good bakery would be great for the area, it is much needed.
William Docherty, businesses are closing down everywhere, ever read the news?? I've noticed quite a few businesses moving into WD, that is great leadership by Chintall and Cianfarini!
