WD Football Remains on Top of Power Points After Bye
The Eagles head into their final four-game stretch of the season leading the pack in the South Jersey Group 2 power points.
West Deptford football was able to hold on to a share of the top spot in the South Jersey Group 2 power points during it bye week.
There were very few changes in the power point standings this past weekend with the Colonial Conference in its bye week.
The West Deptford Eagles are tied for first place in the standings with Cedar Creek, who also had a bye week this week. Cedar Creek, who was behind the Eagles by three points in last week's standings, earned three power points based on past opponents' results this weekend.
The only major movement happened down in the seventh spot, where Woodstown was able to leapfrog both Sterling and Middle Township despite getting blown out by Penns Grove over the weekend 36-0. Sterling, who lost their last game to West Deptford 35-20, is now in eighth place, just four points ahead of Middle Township for the final playoff spot in the group.
West Deptford and their Colinal Conference foes will be back on the field this upcoming weekend. The Eagles will be on the road, visiting Audubon this Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.
