West Deptford Awards Senior Bus, Concert Series Contracts

Botto's returns for another two-year stint at the summer concerts, and seniors will get a permanent bus.

West Deptford seniors will finally have a permanent bus for regular runs to the mall, Shop-Rite and other spots in Gloucester County and around South Jersey, after the approved buying a replacement Thursday night.

The township accepted a bid from Wolfington Body Company for $90,990 for the bus, which will replace the one destroyed in an electrical fire last year.

“It was a hardship on a lot of the seniors,” Committeewoman Denice DiCarlo said.

The township committee also awarded the Streetfest concert series food vendor contract to Botto’s, which was the only company to bid on the contract.

Botto’s will get a two-year deal for $7,500 per year, which is the same they’ve offered the township as the last two years.
