West Deptford placed four runners in the top 20, including Ray Parsons' eighth-place finish, taking second in the small schools division at the 2012 Salesianum Invitational cross-country meet at Brandywine Creek State Park in Wilmington, DE.
Parsons clocked a 17:56.46 on the notoriously difficult, hilly track to pace the Eagles, who also got solid finishes from Dale Johnson (18:16.12, 13th), Jon Ladner (18:17.33, 14th) and Kevin Cianfarini (18:30.88, 18th).
With Andrew Coppola and Matt Shinkle also finishing in the top 50, the Eagles were behind only Malvern Prep, one of Pennsylvania's top-ranked independents.
