- West Deptford township committee: Incumbent Democrat Denice DiCarlo faces Republican Jeff Hansen.
- West Deptford school board: Incumbent Peter Guzzetti will run along with David Kline and Tom Lee, making the race unopposed for three seats.
- Gloucester County freeholders: Incumbent Freeholder Director Robert Damminger and Deputy Director Joe Chila, both Democrats, face Republican challengers Margie Love and Tom Thistle.
- Gloucester County sheriff: Incumbent Democrat Carmel Morina faces Republican Philip Dieser III.
- Gloucester County clerk: Incumbent Democrat James Hogan faces Republican Jeffrey Morris.
- Gloucester County surrogate: Incumbent Democrat Helene Reed faces Republican Carolyn Chapman.
- 1st Congressional District: Incumbent Democratic U.S. Rep. Rob Andrews faces Republican Greg Horton.
- U.S. Senate: U.S. Senator Bob Menendez (D), the junior United States Senator from New Jersey who was first appointed in 2006 to fill Jon Corzine's seat, takes on Republican challenger Joe Kyrillos, who easily defeated three opponents in the primary.
- U.S. President: President Barack Obama will presumptively face former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney in a campaign that has already focused heavily on the economy and job growth.
