The West Deptford girls’ soccer team roared out of the gate in its season opener against Overbrook Thursday, piling up four second-half goals on the way to a 6-0 win over Overbrook on the road.
Kristina Furfari and Megan Sullivan each scored a pair of goals apiece, and Shannon Neary and Payton McGinniss each added strikes of their own to pace the Eagles.
On the boys’ side, Zach Kaestner scored twice and Kevin Keane added an insurance goal as the Eagles beat Overbrook at home, 3-1, to open the fall season.
