West Deptford Patch Turns 2; How Are We Doing?

West Deptford Patch celebrates its second anniversary today. Give us some feedback on how we're doing.

Time flies when you’re having fun.

It doesn’t seem long ago that we were anxiously counting down the days until West Deptford Patch’s launch. Now, here we are two years later, celebrating our second anniversary.

We want to thank you, the readers, for helping West Deptford Patch become a true hub for the community—a place to find out what’s happening around town, share your opinions and debate issues that matter to you.

We’ve truly enjoyed bringing you the news that matters to West Deptford. We’re on the sidelines when West Deptford teams win championships, we’re keeping an eye on how the government spends your tax money and we make sure you know what’s going on in West Deptford schools. You’ve given us access to your triumphs—even ones as small as kindergarteners celebrating their 100th school day—and difficult moments, such as the West Deptford family who marked a decade without their son, killed on 9/11.

Our goal is to bring you West Deptford news you want every day, or, as Patch’s mission statement says, to make life ridiculously easy for you and your neighbors.

So, above all, thank you. Big things are coming to West Deptford Patch in 2013 and we can’t wait to bring them to you. We’ll continue to grow and become—if we already aren’t—the most trusted source for news in West Deptford.

In the meantime, let us know how we’re doing. What do you like or don’t like, and what we could be doing better? Please, take the time to respond to the poll below and encourage others to submit their answers as well so we can make West Deptford Patch even better in 2013.

If you have a specific comment, question or concern not addressed in the poll choices, write it in the comments section below or email westdeptford@patch.com

I think you are and your team are doing an outstanding job. You cover the hot topics that we want to read about in WD. Government, human interest and local sports are my favorite. The photos of the local athletic games and the players are excellent and diverse. I took the survey and for some reason only one item registered despite my votes in the other categories. Keep up the great work.

I too think this is a fantastic local news source. The poll only took my answers to the first question, might not be working right.

Congratulations to Founding Editor Bryan Littel (now Local Editor of Cherry Hill Patch) for all the work he did in launching West Deptford Patch two years ago, and for all his great coverage afterward!

It looks like we might be having some issues with the poll questions - we'll see if we can rerun them in the next few days. Thanks for everyone who's trying to weigh in.
