The West Deptford wrestlers remain untouchable.
In a quad meet at St. Augustine Prep Saturday, the Eagles easily defeated Cherry Hill East and Allentown by scores of 49-17 and 51-12, respectively.
St. Augustine was a somewhat different story.
Much like their nail-biting win over Haddon Heights earlier this week, West Deptford found a way to win in the late going.
This time, it was Christian Terinoni who came through, winning in an ultimate tiebreaker, 3-2, over Edward Donahue at 132 pounds to give the Eagles the critical points they needed in the 37-34 victory.
The wins pushed West Deptford to 9-0 on the season.
Cherry Hill and Allentown each hung in with West Deptford for part of their matches, but the Eagles racked up the pins–three against Cherry Hill East and five against Allentown–to pull away in both.
Gerald Owens had two pins in going 3-0 on the day and the Bonner brothers, Griffin and Rory, combined for three pins and a technical fall.
