A Westville man was sentenced to four years in state prison Friday for a string of burglaries, thefts and shoplifting from May through September 2011.
James J. Park, 25, who lived in Knightsbridge in Westville, pleaded guilty Jan. 30 to a slew of crimes in the area.
Prosecutors charged him with a pair of break-ins at the old Woodbury Country Club in September 2011, where he stole copper pipe and brass fittings, a May 14, 2011, shoplifting incident where he pinched $500 worth of teeth-whitening strips from the CVS in Woodbury, and a number of burglaries in West Deptford, Deptford and Woodbury between July and September 2011.
Park also pleaded guilty to cocaine possession, stemming from a traffic stop in West Deptford on Sept. 19, 2011, where West Deptford police found the drugs in his possession.
Superior Court Judge Walter L. Marshall Jr. mandated Park serve two years of his prison term before being eligible for parole.
