Free ESL Classes Provided by GCC

Deptford Twp.  – The Division of Continuing Education at Gloucester County College is offering a free English as a Second Language (ESL) course at the Glassboro Public Library beginning Monday, Feb. 3. at 7 p.m.

This program is for Gloucester County residents who wish to learn more about the English language and American culture. It is designed to improve communication skills in the areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Classes meet Monday evenings Feb. 3 to April 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. 

The ESL program is free, however, there is a $10 registration fee. Applicants can register now. For more information or to sign up, call 856-468-5000, ext. 6227.  This program is sponsored by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. 

GCC’s Continuing Education Center is located at 1492 Tanyard Road in Deptford, just off Exit 56 of Route 55.
