Get Ahead With GCC College Readiness Program

Deptford Twp. – Gloucester County College is pioneering a new, free College Readiness Program to help students prepare for the rigors of collegiate education.

This eight-week mini-course is an introduction to all things college — ranging from career and academic planning — to financial aid counseling. Students will save valuable time and money as they take free basic skills classes in reading, writing and mathematics and practice for placement exams. Workshops in time management, study skills and tips for scholastic success will also be offered.

The GCC College Readiness Program provides mentoring and support services to help young adults successfully transition into an associate degree or career certificate course of study. All classes, textbooks, materials and advising sessions are free and students will have full access to campus resources.
