Lawrence M. DiVietro, Jr. of Wenonah Named to Board of Trustees of Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice

Lawrence M. DiVietro, Jr., P.L.S., P.P., A.I.C.P., president and CEO of Land Dimensions Engineering in Glassboro, has been elected to serve on the Board of Trustees of Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice.

Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice is the regional leader for hospice and palliative (comfort) care, grief support and counseling, end-of-life education, research and advocacy. The not-for-profit organization serves people in Mercer, Camden, Burlington, Gloucester and Atlantic counties who are coping with the stress of aging, serious illness or grief.

“Larry is a well-respected business owner who knows and understands the importance of giving back,” said Liz Thomas, chair of Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice’s Board of Trustees. “We are so fortunate he has found time to serve on our Board. We will look to Larry to help us spread the word of Samaritan’s many programs and services to more people throughout the South Jersey region, particularly in Gloucester County where he has lived and worked for more than 35 years.” 

With more than 27 years of experience in land use, land management, site development design, land planning and land surveying, DiVietro is a licensed professional land surveyor and professional planner in New Jersey and is a certified member of the American Institute of Certified Planners. In 1979, DiVietro founded Land Dimensions, which provides land surveying, land use planning, site development engineering, landscape design and environmental engineering services throughout the Delaware Valley.

DiVietro is an active member of numerous professional associations and organizations, including: the South Jersey Builders League, American Planning Association, New Jersey Professional Planners’ Association, Urban Land Institute, New Jersey Society of Professional Land Surveyors, Surveyors Association of West Jersey and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

An active member of the community, DiVietro currently serves as Trustee of NJ Future, Director/Board Member of Fulton Bank of New Jersey, and  Board Member of Inspira Health, He is also a former trustee of both Rowan University and the Southern New Jersey Development Council. He also remains active on the Gloucester County College Foundation Board, where he has served as past president.  He resides in Wenonah, NJ.
