“Computer and Email Attachments Life-Skills Workshop” — Internet Job Search Specialist Lauri Kuder will demonstrate how to create and use a professional email address as well as send and receive email attachments. Today’s economy requires a technically-literate workforce and submitting resumes and cover letters via email is chief among must-have skills. Participants should have basic computer skills, including keyboarding and mouse experience, for this workshop. It meets Tuesday, Nov. 5 from 5:45 to 8:30 p.m.

“How to Search and Apply for Jobs on the Internet Life-Skills Workshop” — Internet Job Search Specialist Lauri Kuder returns to share the techniques necessary to successfully navigate an online job hunt.  In addition to networking, it is imperative that individuals understand where to search and how to apply for open positions using the Internet. She will also explain why scrutinizing the employment pages and applying for jobs in person or through “snail mail” are outdated approaches. Participants should have basic computer skills, including keyboarding and mouse experience, for this workshop. It meets Tuesday, Nov. 19 from 5:45 to 8:30 p.m.
