More Than 100 Universities to Attend Annual GCC College Fair

Deptford Twp. – High school students preparing to enter the arena of higher education are invited to attend the Gloucester County Professional Counselor Association’s annual College Fair on Thursday, Oct. 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gloucester County College.

University representatives from as near as Philadelphia and as far as Boston and Tampa Bay will venture to the GCC campus to discuss the many academic opportunities awaiting students.  Parents and teens can learn more about financial aid and scholarship assistance as well as obtain literature on programs of study, campus amenities and student life. Two $50 scholarships will be raffled off.

“Students will be exposed to colleges and universities that they may not otherwise have the chance to learn about and be able to compare them to our local colleges,” said GCC Admissions/Outreach Administrator Megan Ruttler. “It will give them the opportunity to have many of their questions answered.”
