Respiratory Therapy Program Info. Session at GCC April 29
Deptford Twp. – The Division of Nursing and Allied Health at Gloucester County College will hold a Respiratory Therapy program information session for prospective students Tuesday, April 29 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Offered in conjunction with the Rutgers University School of Health-Related Professions, this joint associate degree prepares graduates for a rewarding career in allied health. Prospective students will learn about special admissions criteria and program details during the information session. Coursework will be completed both at GCC and the Rutgers University medical campus in Stratford.
Respiratory therapists play a vital role in diagnosing and treating cardiopulmonary issues such as lung diseases and breathing complications. This Associate of Applied Science option readies graduates for the National Board of Respiratory Care examination, the certifying credential needed to obtain an entry-level position in the profession.
