“The Great Oz Has Spoken” Life-Skills Workshop at GCC

Deptford Twp. – The Center for People in Transition and the Heart of Gloucester County will sponsor “The Great Oz Has Spoken: Practicing the Silence” workshop Wednesday, Sept. 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gloucester County College.

Good listening skills allow individuals to reap many benefits — from healthier relationships to professional advancement. Certified Professional Life Coach Sharon Roth-Lichtenfeld will teach others not only how to hone their ability to hear, but also to listen and establish a rapport with others. Learning how to speak someone else’s language by considering what they say is chief among this workshop’s topics. In addition, overcoming personal bias and the role silence plays in communication will be examined.

The workshop is free and open to the public. It will take place in the College Center on the GCC campus. For more information or to register, please call 856-415-2222 or email peopleintransition@gccnj.edu.
