Uncover a New Experience: Rowan College at Gloucester County Premiere Opening

Deptford Twp. – Gloucester County College will début its new premier partnership with Rowan University exclusively to high school students and parents during the annual Open House held Thursday, March 6 at 5:30 p.m.

Prospective students will learn more about the Rowan College at Gloucester County (RCGC) name change that takes effect July 1. Director of University Relations Michael Plagianakos will discuss the new educational options as well as the unique opportunities this partnership affords incoming freshmen.

During the event, visitors meet faculty members, financial aid representatives and admissions personnel to make preparing for college a positive experience. RCGC has seven academic divisions comprised of more than 70 degree programs and career certificates. Information sessions for NJSTARS and the Rowan University Partnership are scheduled throughout the evening.

Aside from academics, activities coordinators and athletic coaches share information that proves college is more than just going to class while campus tours give visitors a glimpse of RCGC’s state-of-the-art facilities.

The Open House runs until 8 p.m. in the College Center. For more information, call 856-415-2232 or visit www.gccnj.edu/openhouse. No registration is required. GCC’s 250-acre campus is located on Tanyard Road in Deptford, just off Exit 56 of Route 55.
