Woodbury City Public Schools Receive $3,000 Grant From ExxonMobil

Woodbury City Public Schools is pleased to announce that it has received a $3,000 grant from the ExxonMobil Corporation in support of a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) project.

The grant proposal, submitted in June, requested funds to bring Chromebook technology to the high school science labs.

“The direct support of local school programs by ExxonMobil allows for us to advance our STEM initiatives beyond what the current school budget allows,” Superintendent Joseph Jones said. “This particular grant will provide the high school the resource of Chromebook technology as an additional avenue for students to gain internet connectivity and computer application support of instruction.”
