Join us on Good Friday at 7:00 p.m. for a Service of Darkness as we remember the death of our Lord.
Our service of worship is taken from an early Christian service called Tenebrae. The name Tenebrae is the Latin word for "darkness" or "shadows." Through the reading of the crucifixion story and the gradual extinguishing of candles, we experience the sorrow and pain of our Lord's death on the cross.
It is only when we suffer with Christ that we can truly understand the joy of Easter morning and the empty tomb.
