UPDATE, 8:15 P.M.: The Flash Flood Warning has expired.
ORIGINAL: The National Weather Service out of Mount Holly has issued a Flash Flood Warning for parts of Camden and Gloucester counties.
This warning is in effect until 8:15 Tuesday night. Slow moving showers and thunderstorms are producing torrential rainfall throughout the area. Rainfall of nearly 2 inches in an hour is expected. This should result in flooding.
Weather service officials warn drivers not to drive into areas where water covers the road, as vehicles may get stuck. It only takes one foot of water to sweep a car off the road. Drivers are advised to turn around and seek higher ground when encountering flood waters.
