Library Spotlight: Teen Scene in August
There are plenty of programs for teens at the West Deptford Free Public Library this month.
Check out the Teen Scene for August at the , where the summer theme is “You Are Here.”
- On Friday, Aug. 5 at 1 p.m., teens will can create psychedelic tie-dye shirts. Bring an old t-shirt and see what you can make.
- Recycle your old jeans on Tuesday, Aug. 9 at 7 p.m. The teen Jean Art program lets you create a masterpiece.
- Flow Circus for Teens will be Friday, Aug. 12 at 1 p.m. Learn skills such as juggling balls, flower sticks, and diabolos. Also, learn about the kendamas challenge with Paul Miller.
- Let’s go to the movies on Tuesday, Aug. 16 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The feature show is Up! Come to the library and enjoy the popcorn and the show.
- On Tuesday, Aug. 23 at 7 p.m., celebrate the end of summer by coming to our End of Summer Pizza Party. Remember to bring your teen reading logs, because all prizes will be awarded.
