Main Street Dental Latest Company Donating to Hurricane Victims

The dental practice is sending toothbrushes and toothpaste to storm-ravaged areas in New Jersey—and is looking for more donations.

A local Gloucester County dental practice is doing its part to help out the victims of Hurricane Sandy.

Main Street Dental began its “Smiles for the Shore” campaign this week. The practice has donated more than 1,000 toothbrushes, as well as toothpaste, to the victims of Hurricane Sandy. The goal of the campaign is to allow people affected by the storm to receive new items so they can continue to take care of their teeth.

"We understand that many fellow New Jersey residents lost everything and we want to do our part to help them keep their teeth and gums as healthy as possible," said practice administrator Larry Wallace in a press release. Wallace also sits on the Gloucester County Board of Freeholders and chairs the Republican Party in Gloucester County.
