Three-Legged Bruiser Runs with the Big Dogs

Despite losing a leg, this puppy is a wiggly, playful dog. Are you interested in adopting him?

Patch.com and the Gloucester County Animal Shelter have partnered to share with you the featured pets once a week, so check in with us to find your next furry friend.

Here is the latest submission from the Gloucester County Animal Shelter:

Bruiser is an 8-month-old, male, neutered, pit bull terrier-boxer mix pupy. When Bruiser was brought to our shelter, he was found as a stray with a leg injury. This injury was so severe that his only option was to have his leg amputated.

Bruiser was immediately taken in for surgery and has been healing in a foster home. He is all better now and ready to find his new family. Bruiser’s foster family tells us that he is an incredibly sweet puppy with an active personality.

Bruiser doesn’t let the fact that he only has 3 legs slow him down one bit. He is just as playful as any other 8-month-old puppy out there! His foster family also tells us that he is wonderful around children, but would do best in a home without cats. He gets along best with female dogs and dogs with submissive personalities. Bruiser will need a family willing to continue his obedience training and potty training.
