Welcome Patch's Summer Intern

A local resident will help West Deptford Patch provide even more in-depth coverage of the township this summer. 

Shannon Sadler starts today as West Deptford Patch's summer intern. 

Shannon is a lifelong South Jersey resident. She started her journalism career in high school, working on the school newspapers for both Paulsboro High School and Clearview Regional High School.

While serving as a features editor her senior year, she decided to pursue a career in journalism. Following her graduation in 2007 from Clearview, Shannon enrolled at Rowan University. During her four years at Rowan, she interned at South Jersey MOM, a local publication for parents. While at South Jersey MOM, Shannon produced roughly a dozen articles ranging from issues concerning mothers to medical conditions in children. In 2011, Shannon graduated Rowan University with a journalism degree. Since college, Shannon has contributed to Helium.com, an information website, writing about various topics.
