Please Touch Museum Celebrates with Camden Riversharks

  • Where/When: Campbell's Field–401 N. Delaware Ave. Camden, NJ. Doors open at 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, July 10.
  • What’s Going On: Celebrate the birthday of Finley, the Camden Riversharks' mascot, and help raise money for the Please Touch Museum. There will be giveaways, free ice cream and fireworks at this very special game versus the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. $5 from every ticket sold using the group code PTM will go towards supporting the exhibits and programs at the Please Touch Museum.

Beauty & the Beast

  • Where/When: Garden State Discovery Museum–2040 Springdale Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ. 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 9.
  • What’s Going On: Don’t miss the opening weekend of this yearly event as the Summer Theatre series returns at the Garden State Discovery Museum. Join Belle and all of her friends as she learns that you can’t judge a book by its cover. This fun-filled tale is full of memorable music, comedy and interactive
    story-telling.
  • Pricing: $10.95 for adults and children (12 months and over) $9.95 for seniors. All programs are free with admission unless otherwise noted. Family memberships are available.

  • What’s Going On: Enjoy the music and merriment of this Oscar-nominated kids’ artist. Often featured in WXPN’s Kid’s Corner Music Challenge, Steve Pullara and his Cool Beans Duo bring you fun songs from albums like “Zoo Boogie” and “Healthy Food for Thought: Good Enough to Eat”.

BlueBEARy Blast and Celebrate NJ Day Family Festival

  • Where/When: Camden Children's Garden–3 Riverside Dr., Camden, NJ. 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, July 9 and Sunday, July 10.
  • What’s Going On: Help Mum Bear and the folks at the Camden Children’s Museum celebrate the state of New Jersey and the
    wonderful blueberry in it’s prime season. There will be crafts, a planting activity and the Very Berry Concession stand featuring NJ’s official state fruit: the blueberry!
  • Pricing: $6 a person for general admission and free for children under the age of two.

Treehouse Rocks featuring Cat’s Pajamas

  • Where/When: The Little Treehouse Play Café–10 West Graver’s Ln., Philadelphia, PA. 6 p.m. Saturday, July 9.
  • What’s Going On: The Cat’s Pajamas bring a high-energy brand of kids rock to Philly’s own Little Treehouse Play Café. This multi-media show is filled with stories, puppets, and entertainment for the whole family. Children's admission includes a Treehouse
    Kids Meal.
