Tony Luke's Setting Up Shop in Deptford Mall

The Philadelphia cheesesteak franchise is already open, but will celebrate officially December 6 with the ceremonial cutting of a six-foot cheesesteak.

Holiday shoppers headed to the Deptford Mall on Friday will have a chance to sample some of the newest fare in the food court, as the first Tony Luke’s cheesesteak franchise in Gloucester County is now open.

The South Philadelphia staple isn't the only thing on the menu, either. Choices include roast pork, chicken cutlet, wings, and even vegetarian sandwiches.

The new location will celebrate its grand opening at noon on December 6 with the cutting of a six-foot cheesesteak by CEO Tony Luke, Jr., whose star is on the rise—Luke, Jr. will be a series judge on the new Spike TV show, Frankenfood.
