Sea Breeze, NJ: The 'Bees Knees' Of Our Delaware Bay

A little-known abandoned resort town here in South Jersey is a great spot on the Delaware Bay.

Hi, my Patch Friends!  It's The Yummygal again.

As you know, I seek out unusual, unique, and really cool places here in New Jersey. I study a lot of maps (especially Google Earth) and go out and seek the location.

Sea Breeze blew me away.

I discovered a huge beach area along the Delaware Bay shoreline. In doing my research, I found this beautiful abandoned town.

Sea Breeze wasn't always an abandoned town. It was actually one of the largest resort areas in South Jersey during the Prohibition Area. In fact, it rivaled Atlantic City!

I'm giving the Patch folks a "backstage" look at a story I will be featuring on my South Jersey blog. It is a "blacked out" area on many GPS units. I had to go via the old-fashioned route by writing down directions. There is only one way to get in and out of this precious town. Hope you enjoy!

You can reach the story by clicking here http://yummygal.wordpress.com/?p=3137&shareadraft=503e569ca782a  before it even airs on "Yummygal's Day Trip Adventures."

I am giving my dear Patch readers a first-hand look! It contains wonderful pictures and the history about Sea Breeze, NJ an abandoned resort town on our precious Delaware Bay.
