Soupy Island: Generation After Generation of Enjoyment
A brief history of the beloved Soupy Island.
Hi everyone! I am new to the Patch. I live here in South Jersey and write a blog about our beloved Garden State.
On my website I take you on a journey along South Jersey and beyond its borders. I offer things to do that are unique, sometimes educational, and can be done with the family. I have a 1-year-old who I trek with on all of these adventures.
Here is a recent article I published on my blog. I hope you enjoy. I am trying to offer something a bit different in our South Jersey area and to let folks know that there's a lot to do!

I have lived in the Philadelphia vicinity all my life and can’t believe I have never heard of this place. It’s more like a local “hush hush” secret. An old grammar school friend had brought it up to me.
I was immediately intrigued and had to check it out. Generation after generation has enjoyed Soupy Island over the last 100 years.
