Cheapest Gas: Head to Lukoil

The good news is, gas prices have been heading back down–inching, certainly, a penny here and a penny there.

But it still costs about $16 more to fill up your tank as compared to last year, according to AAA, so we're going to give you a glance every Monday at where to fill up around the area to get the most out of your money.

Least expensive starting out this week is the Lukoil at 897 Mantua Pike, at the intersection of Griscom Lane, where you can fill up for $3.459 a gallon for regular. If you've run that 15-gallon tank down to fumes, it'll cost you $52.19 to top it off.

A close second is the Wawa on Mantua Pike, where it's $3.499 per gallon for regular. It maybe only be 0.1¢, but if it's under $3.50, we'll take it.

Heading north? Hit the Brooklawn Citgo or Hess stations, both on the Brooklawn Circle, where you can fill up for $3.539 per gallon for regular–and better yet, neither one charges extra for using your credit card, so you can build those reward points or free cash without having to worry about paying extra.

And if you're looking for diesel, the Hess station on the Brooklawn Circle also wins, hands-down, at $3.759 a gallon.
