Cheapest Gas: Wawa Leads the Way Down
Head to Mantua Pike for the least-expensive gallon of regular to start this week.
The good news is gas prices are down slightly this week. OK, sure, they’re down an average of about a penny per gallon, but it’s still something.
And once again, your best bet for the least-expensive gallon of regular is a run over to Mantua Pike, which has all five of spots this week. Wawa’s the only station below $3.50, but the others aren’t far behind, if it’s not on your route today.
It continues to be an expensive summer for filling your tank, though. AAA says the average price to fill a 15-gallon tank locally is $53.88 right now, up about $3 from last month.

Compared to six months ago, when it was $44.59 to fill the same tank, or last summer, when it was a mere $37.09, and it’s easy to see where that extra disposable income is heading.
