Cheapest Gas: Wawa Saves You Most

Gas below $3.30 a gallon for regular? It almost seems unheard of, here at the height of vacation season, with everyone scrambling for that one last shot at a few days down the shore before the school year rears its head and puts the kibosh on family getaways.

What’s more encouraging is that prices have been slipping all month, to the point where it’s almost below $50 for a full, 15-gallon tank.

Granted, that’s still about $6 above a full tank six months ago, and about $14 more than last year, but it’s down a couple of bucks from the height of prices in July.

We’ll take the small victories where we can get them.

This week, not surprisingly, nearly all the least-expensive stations are in that roughly one-mile stretch of Mantua Pike, with Wawa leading the way down.
