Local Veterans Honored During Ceremony at Deptford Mall

Veterans of various wars received service medals.

A total of 61 military veterans of various wars—54 from Gloucester County and nine from Camden County—received distinguished-service medals during a ceremony Tuesday at the Deptford Mall. 

The awards were presented by the state Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.
