Traffic Safety Videos Hit the Big Screen

The winners of the annual contest will be screened at the United Artists theater in Washington Township Thursday night.

It’s a little like the Oscars–but with a public safety message.

The Gloucester County Highway Safety Task Force will screen the top 10 videos from its annual high school traffic safety contest Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. at the United Artists theater in Washington Township.

A record 146 videos from eight county high schools were entered in the eighth annual contest, which challenges high school students to create 30-second spots about the dangers of drunken and distracting driving.
