Eckley, Catando, Carroll Elected to West Deptford BOE

Incumbent board member Amy DeGirolamo was the only of the four candidates to not make the cut for the three open seats.

West Deptford voters returned Lisa Eckley to the township school board for another term on Tuesday night, where she will be joined by two new faces: Steven A. Catando and Cheryl Carroll.

Eckley was the leading vote-getter, with 4,010, or 27.78 percent of the 14,437 votes cast in the election.

Catando finished second, with 3,470 votes, or 24.04 percent; Carroll was third, at 3,452, with 24.53 percent of the vote.

Incumbent Amy DeGirolamo was the odd woman out, finishing 109 votes behind Carroll with 3,343 votes, or 23.16 percent.
