WDFPL's Book Talk and Film, "Dr. Zhivago"


Join us for a Russian Literature adventure at the
West Deptford Free Public Library, 420 Crown Point Road, West Deptford, NJ on Thursday, January 31 at 10:30 a.m. Enjoy a “Dr. Zhivago”  Book Talk, 
a Nobel-Prize winning drama-romance novel written by Russian writer Boris Pasternak, that tells the story of a married doctor/poet who falls in love with the wife of a political activist and the hardships they experience
during the Bolshevik Revolution. Afterwards, enjoy viewing the 1965 epic drama film, “Dr. Zhivago, ” directed by David Lean.  Refreshments, including Russian tea cakes, will be served. To register, call the Library at 856-845-5593 and for more information, visit www.westdeptford.lib.nj.us
