Gloucester County Running Club

GCRC is a youth running club and a member club of the Road Runners Club of America and hold weekly group runs on Tuesday and Thursday nights around 6:00pm at West Deptford Park. We are hoping to start group runs and track practice next Thursday the 12th. We invite running parents to be members and feel it’s a great opportunity to pass on our love of running and exercising to our kids, but parents are not required to run. Along with the weakly group runs there will be opportunities for the kids to run 5k’s, indoor & outdoor track, our youth summer race series and cross country as a club. These other races are at the parents discretion and they are responsible for registration of that race. We are now in the process of forming our spring track team and will meet on Tuesday nights at West Deptford High School Track for practice. The first track practice will be Tuesday March 17th, weather permitting. We compete in the South Jersey Track and Field Alliance and have track meets on Saturday mornings. The track season runs from the end of March to the beginning of June and meets are at different High School tracks in the area. We have athletes of all abilities and skill level and although we are a distance based club, we have athletes that compete in other types of track events like sprints and jumps. I have attached a registration form, and participation waiver. This is a year round club and a family membership is $45.00, for a family of 4, $3.00 for each additional family member, and $30.00 for an Individual kids membership.
